Job Title

Registered Nurse – PACU

Location

Oakland, CA | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:30) | Every Other Weekend | Holidays as Scheduled | On-Call as Needed | Standby Expected Approximately 4 Days per Month

Key Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-operative recovery care for cardiac, vascular, and interventional radiology patients
• Assist with bedside procedures in the ISSU
• Apply crisis management expertise in the care of cardiac patients
• Float within the hospital as needed based on unit demands
• Participate in standby coverage as expected by the unit schedule

Required Qualifications

• Valid California RN License (required at time of submission)
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of pre- and post-interventional procedural care experience
• Background experience in ICU or ER demonstrating crisis management expertise in cardiac patient care
• Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with cardiac and vascular patient populations in a procedural setting
• Familiarity with interventional radiology recovery protocols
• Two supervisor references preferred
